Lot 677		Franklin Half Dollar. 1958-D. *NGC graded MS-66"" holder.** Gorgeous and monstrously bold toning on this gem, especially so on the reverse. Note the glowing sunset red and gold around the obverse periphery, but the reverse is much more intense with iridescent red and green splashed about over the entire design. Lot 678		Franklin Half Dollar. 1959 half dollar struck on a foreign planchet. MS-63. This is apparently struck on a foreign planchet as it weighs a bit more than a quarter should at 6.37 grams. Frosty luster and with very choice surfaces throughout. The date and mintmark area are strong, and all but the extreme peripheral lettering is present. A rare Franklin half dollar error, very few of which have been found. No reeding on the edge, and the foreign planchet appears to be silver. Estimated Value $250-UP. Lot 685		Kennedy Half Dollar. 1976 Bicentennial Kennedy half dollar, struck 50 percent off center towards noon. MS-63. Here is a delightful error coin, struck only in 1976 for the Bicentennial and thus a one year type coin. Great luster and surfaces, with a touch of toning on Kennedy's jaw. We also note a minor rim clip behind Kennedy's neck. An important error that will no doubt find many suitors. The edge is plain and not reeded. Estimated Value $50 - 75.
